Below is a list of frequently asked questions and answers:

.

01

When should I reserve my cake?

You should book your cake as soon as you know you need one, as I do not reserve dates without a deposit. Because I limit the number of orders accepted per week, bookings are on a first come first serve basis. At least TWO WEEKS notice is preferred, although ONE MONTHS advance notice is ideal. Orders requested with less than two weeks notice may be declined but if accepted, a rush fee will be applied to the total quote

02

How much are your cakes? Do you need a deposit?

Cake pricing is determined by a few factors, such as the number of serving the cake must be, the introcacy of the design requested, if a specialty flavor/filling is requested and so forth. Please provide as much detail as possible for an exact quote. Quotes are only VALID FOR 30 DAYS unless other arrangements are made.

A deposit of 50% of your total balance is required for booking and is NON-REFUNDABLE!!!!! Deposits are used to secure my availability on the date of your event and to purchase special goods or supplies in advance needed to fulfill your order. Therefore the deposit is not refundable once paid.

Where are you located? Do you deliver?

We are located in Essex County, NJ, However we are able to provide orders to clients located in surrounding states such as Deleware, Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut. Delivery is availble and the price is determined by the distance of delivery.

Do you do tastings? I dont like fondant, does my cake have to have it?

Tastings are offered for wedding cake inquiries with more than 70 guests. Tastings are provided for up to 4 guests and include up to 4 flavors/fillings. They are $25.00 and would be deducted from the final cost if booked. No tastings are provided for non-wedding cakes or wedding cakes serving less than 70. However, i do offer cake slices or cakes in a jar for sale. You may also purchase a 6 or 8" buttercream cake at any time to sample as well

Fondant is not required for cake purchases, however it is recommended to help with with the final look of the cake. It gives the cake a smoother and neater finish. I cover my cakes in icing prior to covering in fondant so if you dont want to eat it you can simply peel it off and eat the cake and icing.
